God Bless America?

To the author of My 2 Cents:

So let me get this straight...a father has been denied legal protection of and standing with his daughter, and your reaction is to sing "God Bless America"? I know I've used this phrase to death, but WHAT THE F***!

BTW, this is the version of the song I (and my friends) sung in high school and "can reflect the feelings I'm having right now":
