The "New" Iraq

So, apparently, this is how you give a "new" nation and government legitimacy:

YOU SUPRISE THEM WITH IT

The United States surprised the world by jumping the June 30 date and prematurely ejaculating sovereignty onto the Iraqis, then telling them about it after it was over. I'm glad it's out of our hands, but I'm disappointed that even more Americans will die for this Charlie Foxtrot of a war.

May the Iraqi people enjoy what little liberty they may get (martial law is likely to be issued). May the Iraqi people enjoy the "proper" way of life under their new flag, which accurately identifies the proper priorities for a new nation:
