The Trials and Tribulations of Stem Cells
President Bush's press secretary, the quite sexy Scott McClellan, rebuffed calls by the majority of U.S. Senators and the Reagan family for President Bush to remove the restrictions on embryonic stem cell research he imposed three years ago.
McClellan said flatly, "The policy remains the same, we are looking at other ways to combat disease."
I would like to thank every senator who signed the letter urging the president to change his stance on stem cell research:
Stevens, Ted AKI am quite pissed that neither Idaho senator is on the list. I hope Senators Craig and Crapo will pull their heads far enough out of President Bush's posterior to do what is right. I plan to write each of them and tell them that. I hope all of you will too.
