Acting Presidential...it's harder than you think

President Bush was at a "Victory 2004" dinner last Thursday at the Municipal Airport in Santa Monica, California. I here the Municipal Airport is the hottest social spot in Santa Monica, so the President was lucky to get booked there...

Also at the airport dinner was the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. After being introduced, the President said what is quite possibly the most presidential thing ever said by a president who was sitting president at the time.

In other words, it was pretty damn presidential. In fact, it's so presidential, it deserves great praise...here it is:

I'm also proud to be here with the Governor of California. He's a -- because he and I share a lot in common.

Ok, my interest is peaked...I wonder what President Bush and Governor Schwarzenegger have in common?

We both married above ourselves...

Duuuh...funny...I guess?

...we both have trouble with the English language...

That would be funny if it weren't so frightening. May I remind everyone that the Governator is nationalized Austrian who speaks English as a second language...the President is a Yale-educated American. Finally:

...we both have big biceps -- well, two out of three aren't bad.

I don't know Mr. President, you could probably hold your own...
