WA - SJM 8009

Here's something interesting for all the Washingtonians out there...a Joint Memorial before the Washington State Senate (which received a committee hearing yesterday) will, if passed, ask President Bush and the U.S. Congress to split Washington into two separate states:
SJM 8009 is an interesting read, even though it will never go anywhere...check it out.

well, as a resident of Eastern washington, i can't approve of that plan, mainly because the western part of the state is only reason we choose the correct candidate in most elections. I'll offically say that I would move to Seattle in a second if that happened. lol, that's some funny stuff that is.

Take eastern Washington and combine it with everything north of Riggins in Idaho and throw in everything west of Missoula and you've got "North Idaho". Thats the only way I'd concede to a merger... and Sandpoint would have to be the capitol city...

Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm happy with our even number of 50 states... we don't need 51... or 52 for that matter...
